Lanka Ventures PLC
& LVL Energy Fund PLC

Established in 1992, Lanka Ventures PLC (LVL) was formed with a vision to catalyze entrepreneurial growth in Sri Lanka through venture capital. Its founding shareholders included respected institutions such as the Asian Development Bank, John Keells Holdings, Forbes & Walker Limited, and DFCC Bank. The company went public in 1995 with a successful listing on the Colombo Stock Exchange.

While LVL initially diversified its investments across multiple sectors, recent activity has been primarily focused on energy and healthcare, two areas identified for their long-term growth potential and strategic importance. In 2006, the company reinforced its commitment to the energy sector by establishing LVL Energy Fund PLC, a fully owned subsidiary listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange.
